Harmony Day in Australia is celebrated on March 21. It is all about celebrating the country's cultural Diversity.

It basically represents that everyone is equal and the message spreaded on that day is to eliminate Racial dicrmination. It has also been said that, Harmony Day is a day to celebrate the diversity of community and all Australians.This will also be an opportunity for the community to give feedback on the services RDHS provide.

The colour Orange is considered as the official colour of the Harmony Day and many people wear Orange clothes or Ribbons on that day.
What does the colour stand for / why was this colour chosen?
Traditionally, Orange colour signifies social communication and meaningful conversations. It also refers to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect.
